Alexis is ideally located in the heart of the City Centre. As you stroll out the front gate you will be greeted by a vibrant and friendly city full of character. Wander down George Street taking in the fantastic fashion and shopping until you reach the Octagon where the majority of Dunedin’s vast selection of Bars, Clubs and Pubs lie. Just down the road from the Octagon you will find Dunedin Casino and the Exchange otherwise know as the ‘historical precinct’.

Dunedin also offers a wide range of high-level sporting facilities, all of which are in very close proximity to Alexis Motor Lodge including: Forsyth Barr Stadium, the University Oval (cricket) and Caledonian Stadium (soccer and athletics), the New Zealand Sports Institute, the Edgar Sports Centre, Forbury Raceway, Moana Pool, International Ice Skating and Curling Rinks, not too mention numerous walking, biking and running tracks in close proximity.
